Things I've Seen
While the majority of the homes do not have major deficiencies,
there are some homes that I have inspected that have saved my customers thousands of dollars by knowing the condition of the
home or commercial property they are considering purchasing. Some of the major deficiencies I have found in homes are:
major foundation cracking and settling; mold contamination or other environmental hazards like lead, radon and asbestos; leaking
or improperly framed roofs; improperly constructed room or garage additions; improper or inadequate structural framing; electrical
fires and other electrical deficiencies that pose safety hazards; major flooding issues due to improper drainage management;
inoperable or deficient heating and air conditioning systems including detection of extremely high levels of Carbon Monoxide;
leaking or hazardous water heaters.
